In defect chemistry, various point defects can be regarded as chemical components like atoms and ions, which can significantly affect the electrochemical properties of materials. This course introduces the fundamental concept, types, and characterization of defects in materials. The course aims to enhance understanding of how knowledge of defect chemistry is appplied to the solid oxide fuel cell and battey.

2023 Spring semester (Separation Technology for Environment, 환경분리기술)
This course focuses on the basic understanding of the principles and applications of various separation technologies that can be applied in the field of environment and energy. Thermodynamics, material diffusion, and adsorption, which are the basis of separation technology principles will be studied. Based on this, the course aims to enhance understanding of separation technologies such as chromatography, centrifugation, ion exchange membrane, electrochemical separation, and crystallization.
