Modern brain research now can be divided into two major areas: brain monitoring and brain stimulation. Brain monitoring focuses on observing brain signals during specific moments: during the speech, sleeping, playing games, etc. Another research area is brain stimulation. Brain stimulation focuses on enhancing and recovering brain functions with current (tDCS) or magnetic (TMS) stimulation.
BioComputing laboratory is working on biosignals measured from the human body. Since the area requires diverse knowledge from different backgrounds to understand the relations between biosignals and the human body, students from various fields, such as Mathematics, Embedded System, Computer Science, Electronics, etc. are studying together.
Our lab members are now focusing on these areas.
