The Grünberg Nobel Center for Magnetic Nanomaterials was established in January 2012 with Professor Peter Grünberg, the 2007 Nobel Laureate in Physics, as the head of the center to focus research on spintronics nanomaterials and magnetic materials by studying their magnetic characteristics.

The Heeger Center for Advanced Materials

The Heeger Center for Advanced Materials was established in June 2005 by inviting Professor Alan J. Heeger, a Nobel Laureate and a pioneer in researching plastic electronics, as the head of the center.
The research groups are divided into organic solar cells, organic transistor, and organic light emitting devices and are actively conducting advanced research to develop breakthrough technologies for each field.
